Now, the problem with these bands is sometimes even though you would have security or your surgeon would secure the band in, sometimes the band can slip and that was a problem that has become more frequently for some patients or have had a prolapse of their stomach and therefore has discomfort. Therefore this surgery is no longer as popular as it was in the past.
