Gastric sleeve surgery is a procedure that includes the surgical removal of a portion of the stomach. The size of the stomach pouch your surgeon removes depends on the actual size of your stomach.
Since the pouch can stretch after prolonged intake of high amounts of food, removed parts can get quite big. In this video, Dr. Choi shows how big a removed part of the stomach can be.
