Pre-surgery is also a little complicated but we will help you through a charter and navigate through the waters. What does that mean? Sometimes people who have hypertension and diabetes that come and present to my clinic, I like to get them stress tests and blood work. And in addition to that even if you don’t have any comorbidities I still like to get a blood work and EKG done. Why is that? So that we know that everything is normal prior to surgery. However, if a normal EKG and normal blood work are not normal and they become abnormal, then I like to get a stress test.
