What Was Your Most Memorable Weight Loss Surgery?
Patients have asked me about the success stories, I think that all patients will have a success story. And what success story that really keeps into me or keeps in my mind is about a fisherman that I had operated here in Florida. This gentleman had gone to numerous places and did not have any luck and couldn’t get his insurance to cover the surgery but eventually he came to me and he was over 400 pounds and now he’s lost over more than 100 pounds with the gastro sleeve. And his hypertension and his diabetes have resolved and I think that, that is probably the most rewarding thing about doing weight loss surgery for people here.
